Founder of Resurrected Recovery, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
Kevin Rybak
Kevin Rybak is the founder of Resurrected Recovery and a dedicated leader in Christ-centered addiction recovery. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Kevin brings both professional expertise and personal experience to his mission of helping individuals rebuild their lives.
He previously served as Program Director for Sober Living America in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he oversaw more than 50 residents and led staff in creating structured, accountable recovery environments.
Kevin is a certified Substance Abuse Counselor with an associate degree in Human Services and a recovered alcoholic and addict whose life was transformed through the 12-step program and the grace of God.
After experiencing the devastating consequences of addiction — including incarceration and the loss of his son Jordan to overdose — Kevin committed his life to helping others find hope, healing, and restoration. Today, he lives in Ayden, North Carolina with his wife, Summer, and serves as living proof that redemption is real.
Through Resurrected Recovery, his mission is simple: to provide a safe, structured, and faith-filled environment where lives can be restored.

Gary Brooks
Gary Brooks serves as the Program Director of Resurrected Recovery and is a man in long-term recovery whose life has been transformed through faith in Jesus Christ. Since 2014, he has faithfully served in the recovery field, helping build and lead Christ-centered recovery communities across the country.
As an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, Gary combines lived experience with strong, compassionate leadership to guide individuals toward lasting freedom. Throughout his career, he has served as Program Director, Outreach Director, and Scholarship Coordinator, working to develop faith-based programming and ensure that financial barriers never prevent someone from receiving help.
Gary is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they rediscover their identity, rebuild their lives, and experience true restoration in a safe, structured, and grace-filled environment.
