Resurrected Recovery is a Christ-centered, faith-based residential recovery ministry for adult men seeking freedom from alcohol and drug addiction.
We are non-denominational and welcome men from all backgrounds. We do not promote a particular denomination. Instead, our program is grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles of 12-Step recovery, with an emphasis on spiritual growth, personal responsibility, accountability, brotherhood, and lasting transformation.
We believe recovery is about more than simply stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. It is about helping a man address the patterns that have kept him trapped, rebuild his relationship with God and others, develop a new way of living, and discover hope and purpose for his future.
At Resurrected Recovery, residents aren't just a number. Our intentionally small residential setting allows us to know each man personally, understand his individual needs, and walk alongside him throughout his recovery journey.

Who is Resurrected Recovery?
Founder & Executive Director
Kevin Rybak
Kevin Rybak is the founder and Executive Director of Resurrected Recovery and has dedicated his life to helping men and families affected by addiction find hope, recovery, and restoration.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Kevin brings a unique combination of professional training, recovery leadership, and lived experience to Resurrected Recovery.
Before founding Resurrected Recovery, Kevin served for four years as Program Director for Sober Living America in Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro North Carolina, where he helped oversee approximately 50 residents and staff while providing structure, accountability, recovery support, and leadership.
Kevin earned a degree in Human Services Technology with a focus in Substance Abuse and has additional education and training in substance abuse counseling. But his understanding of addiction is also deeply personal.
Kevin is a man in long-term recovery whose own life was transformed through the 12 Steps and the grace of God. His journey included the devastating consequences of addiction, incarceration, and eventually the heartbreaking loss of his 21-year-old son, Jordan, to an overdose.
Rather than allowing those experiences to define the end of his story, Kevin committed his life to helping others find the hope and second chance that he found through recovery and faith in Jesus Christ.
That calling ultimately led to the creation of Resurrected Recovery.
Today, Kevin's mission is to provide men struggling with addiction with the kind of environment he believes recovery requires: faith, structure, accountability, brotherhood, compassion, and people who genuinely care whether they succeed.
For Kevin, Resurrected Recovery is more than a program. It is a ministry built on the belief that no life is beyond the reach of God's grace and redemption.
Director Of Operations
Gary Brooks
Gary Brooks serves as the Director of operations of Resurrected Recovery, bringing more than a decade of experience in recovery leadership and a personal understanding of the journey from addiction to lasting recovery.
A man in long-term recovery, Gary's life has been transformed through faith in Jesus Christ, the principles of the 12 Steps, and a commitment to serving others. Since 2014, he has worked in the recovery field, helping men develop the structure, accountability, and support necessary to begin rebuilding their lives.
Throughout his career, Gary has served in several leadership roles, including Program Director, Outreach Director, Scholarship Coordinator, and 12-Step facilitator. These experiences have given him a strong understanding of both the daily operation of residential recovery programs and the individual needs of men working toward a new way of life.
As Operations Director, Gary helps oversee the day-to-day structure of Resurrected Recovery, working closely with residents and staff to maintain a safe, organized, accountable, and recovery-focused environment. He plays an active role in resident support, program activities, 12-Step recovery, transportation, community involvement, and helping ensure that each man remains engaged in the recovery process.
Gary's leadership style combines compassion, consistency, and accountability. Having walked the road of recovery himself, he understands that meaningful change requires more than words—it requires honesty, willingness, action, faith, and a commitment to doing things differently.
Gary believes that no man's past has to determine his future. His goal at Resurrected Recovery is to help create an environment where men cans strengthen their relationship with God, take responsibility for their lives, develop a solid foundation in recovery, and begin moving forward with purpose and hope.
His heart for service is reflected in the relationships he builds with the men at Resurrected Recovery. Gary believes that lasting recovery is built one day at a time through faith, consistency, brotherhood, and a willingness to grow. He is committed to helping every resident recognize his potential, develop confidence in his recovery, and leave Resurrected Recovery better prepared to live a life of purpose, integrity, and service to others.
